Dr. Myer’s research includes identification and characterization of genetic causes of rare diseases, understanding the impact of post-zygotic, mosaic mutations, and genotype-phenotype expansions. She strives to bring research findings into clinical practice by developing novel diagnostic tools and improving diagnostic algorithms.
